Learn More About "Fracking" with the LWV of Glen Ellyn

The League of Women Voters of Glen Ellyn offers an opportunity to learn more about "Fracking" on Thursday, March 13, 7:30 p.m., at the Glen Ellyn Civic Center, 535 Duane St., Downtown Glen Ellyn. Dr. Francine Cella, a Fracking Specialist for LWV of Illinois, will present an overview on the science of hydraulic fracturing, how it specifically affects Illinois, and what is happening legislatively in our state. All interested members of the community are welcome.

The League of Women Voters of Glen Ellyn, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
