League of Women Voters of Glen Ellyn Presents “How Illinois Won the Vote” September 12 at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Links of Glen Ellyn

The LWV of Glen
Ellyn presents a program “How Illinois Won the Vote” by Leslie Goddard, Ph.D.,
historian and author, Thursday, September 12, at the Village Links, 485 Winchell
Way, at Park Ave. and Sheehan, in Glen Ellyn. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. There
will be light appetizers and a cash bar. RSVP to Carrie Burrows at carrieb131@gmail.com or call (630)
469-9245. There is a suggested donation of $10, which will support the League’s
voter education efforts.


The League of
Women Voters of Glen Ellyn, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages
informed and active participation in government, works to increase

understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy 
through education and advocacy.
