Holiday Celebration and Fund Raiser Planned for Dec. 3 by Glen Ellyn Woman's Club

The Glen Ellyn Woman's Club will sponsor their annual Holiday Luncheon and Silent Auction on Tuesday, December 3, 2013,  at the Glen Oak Country Club, 21W 451 Hill Avenue in Glen Ellyn. Proceeds from the luncheon and silent auction will benefit the many charitable endeavors of the Woman's Club.  Annually two scholarships are given to students from Glenbard South, and Glenbard West High Schools. In addition, donations are given to the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry,  Family Shelter Service,  Glen Ellyn Historical Society and numerous other social service agencies.  Arrival time for the luncheon guests is 11:30 AM and after the meal they will  be entertained by the Glenbard North Gold Tones Singing Group. The luncheon tickets are $45.00 per person and may be purchased by contacting Carol Miller at 630-469-7046.
