Grace Lutheran Church's 13th Annual Chili Supper Glen Ellyn Holiday Walk Tradition

Families, friends, visitors and guests have the opportunity to step in out of the “chill” on Friday night, November 29, during the Glen Ellyn Holiday Walk 2013 and enjoy a great chili meal at Grace Lutheran Church.  Located at 493 Forest Avenue in downtown Glen Ellyn, the church has ladeled chili into the bowls of  hungry  patrons for thirteen years!  Those in command this year are Chief Cooks, the Shane Hufnagle family, Jeff Nelson and Susan Nelson.  Grace members volunteer as servers for the evening.  The Chili Supper begins serving at 5:00 PM and the last bowls are filled at 8:00 PM.  All the proceeds from the event are donated to the World Hunger Appeals Program.  Kids meals are $4, Adult meals are $7.  Included along with chili are hot dogs, homemade corn bread, salad, chips, brownies and drinks.   For information call the Grace Church office at 630-469-1555 during week days.
