A great Valentine’s Day event is happening at the Glen Ellyn History Center, 800 N. Main Street at Stacy’s Historic Corners in Glen Ellyn.  This event will wash away those Wintertime Blues using the musical talents of Fruteland Jackson, a singer/songwriter and educator who performs at blues festivals, cultural centers, and clubs worldwide. This program is co -sponsored by the Glen Ellyn Historical Society and WDCB  90.9 FM.  Jackson's songs range from blues ballads to folk and gospel standards and what he refers to as “Baby- Boomer Blues.”  He calls himself a blues activist and oral historian prompting awareness through education by conducting Blues in the Schools programs.
