Lombard Camera Club Presents Fred Drury and "Eastern Indonesia-Center of Biodiversity"

Please join us for a presentation by Fred Drury.  He has been making images of the natural world for over 40 years.  His specialty is Underwater Photography and makes regular trips to the Indo-Pacific region.  Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium has more than thirty of his images in their Wild Reef Exhibit.


 Anyone with an interest in photography and Photoshop is certainly welcome and there is no charge for this event.  Bill will be providing us with a presentation titled

Mr. Drury's photographs have received numerous local, national and international awards.  Fred was the 2011 recipient of the Kohout Award, which is given by the Chicago Area Photographic Society ‘to and individual who best exemplifies the spirit and efforts of John, ASPA, and Kitty Kohout in nature photography'.

Lombard Camera Club, first established in 1927, is a group of photo enthusiasts that come together to share, learn and compete, all with the objective of improving our art. Photographers of all levels of experience, from beginner to advanced are welcome to attend.


Meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month September through May in the lower level media room of St. Timothy's Church 547 N. Main St. in Lombard at 7:30pm. The first meeting of the month is dedicated to education.  The club holds print and digital image competitions on the 2nd meeting of the month. New members are always welcome.   


The clubs is a member of the Chicago Area Camera Club Associations (CACCA). Membership is open to everyone age 18 or older from any community with an interest in photography - no experience necessary.  Annual dues are only $30.00.
