Holiday Festival Fund Raiser for Glen Ellyn Woman's Club

Program Chairman for the Glen Ellyn Woman’s Club, Kaaren Oldfield, has booked a very special program for the Glen Ellyn Woman’s Club Holiday Festival on Tuesday, December 4.  Glenbard South High School Madrigal Singers will entertain for the afternoon
and be the official greeters of the Christmas season as they sing for the members and  guests.
The locatiion of this major fund raiser is the Glen Oak Country Club, 21 W 451 Hill Avenue in Glen Ellyn.  The Social Hour begins at 11:30 A.M and the Luncheon/Program is 12:00 P.M. and 2:30 P.M.
Glenbard South Madrigal Singers have been in existence for many years and perform during the holiday season in many venues.  The Woman’s Club is very pleased to have them entertain for this important Fund Raiser in the club year.
Along with the luncheon, entertainment and Christmas atmosphere, a Silent Auction is planned.  Items collected from Glen Ellyn merchants, gift certificates from local restaurants, as well as special unique collectibles from the club members will be included in the auction.  Funds raised from this event will be added to the other money the club earns and the entire sum is donated to social service agencies in Glen Ellyn and DuPage County.  Two scholarships are given to Glenbard West and South High Schools.  Tickets for the Holiday Festival are priced at $45.00 per person.  Contact Woman’s Club member Mary Ann Zeitz at 630-858-8264 to purchase them.
