On October 11, 2012, Glen Ellyn resident, Amy Kaminski suffered an Ischemic Stroke caused by a blood clot in her body.  Amy is now at home with husband, Steve and three children; Daniel, Michael and Kate yet she's suffering with fine motor and vision impairments. The goal of this festive event is to bring all of Amy's friends together and help the Kaminski family adjust their lives with ease and less financial burden. All funds raised will go towards the incoming medical bills and the added expenses of hiring help for childcare and transportation. Since Amy cannot drive, the family needs help getting her to/from doctor appointments, the kids to/from school and activities and mostly driving their youngest, Kate, who has Down syndrome to all of her weekly therapy appointments.
