BULLS/SOX ACADEMY, CHICAGO WHITE SOX HOSTS HITTING CLUB IN GLEN ELLYN

LISLE, IL. – The Bulls/Sox Academy announced today that it will be hosting a White Sox Elite .400 Hitting Club at Ackerman Sports and Fitness Center located at 800 St. Charles Road.

The .400 Club teaches the professional “approach” to hitting as well as the swing mechanics.  With twenty minutes of classroom and seventy minutes of instruction, we will make you the best hitter you can be!  Players will also get their swings videotaped and analyzed through our digital motion analysis -- a state-of-the-art technique to visually record and analyze an athlete’s movements.  The class covers a new phase of the swing each week.  Starting with stance and set-up, lower body rotation, hand path, contact points, timing, off speed pitches and approach.

The .400 Club will start on Thursday, January 31st and will run until February 21st. Enrollment is open to athletes twelve to eighteen years old. Session One for twelve to fourteen year olds will be from 4:30-6:00pm, immediately followed by Session Two for fifteen to eighteen year olds from 6:00-7:30pm. The cost is only $180.00 per athlete.
