Tuesday, December 10 at 7:00 PM, Glen Crest Middle School gymnasium, 725 Sheehan Avenue, will be filled with families and friends of the Community Consolidated School District 89 orchestra members ready to perform their Holiday Concert. Grades 4 through 8 are included in the evening performances. The orchestras are under the direction of Kristie Ditsch and she has planned a varied program that features novelty numbers as well as well known holiday tunes. The 4th grade Primo Orchestra will play Jingle Bells, Skater’s Waltz will be performed by the 5th grade Prelude Orchestra, Intermediate Orchestra plays Moonlight Tango, 7th and 8th grade Concert Orchestra will play Curse of the Rosin Easting Zombie and the Glen Crest Chamber Orchestra will perform Greensleeves.
