A Program of Medieval English Carols to Contemporary Melodies is Planned for Glen Crest Choral Department


     Music teacher Paul Ropp, Director of Glen Crest Middle School choral department has announced the date for the Glen Crest Winter Concert.  Thursday, December 12, at 7:00 PM in the middle school gymnasium, the sixth grade girls chorus, seventh and eighth grade chorus and boys chorus present a program that includes Medieval English carols and more modern holiday songs like, “Happy Holiday.”  He plans for all the choirs to sing three contemporary melodies that include “California Dreamin” by the Mamas and Papas.  Calvin Coleman is the accompanist for the evening.  Glen Crest is located at 725 Sheehan Ave. in Glen Ellyn.
