Village: Special Branch and Brush Collection

The following is a special update from the Village of Glen Ellyn on yard waste pickup.

As a result of the storm that impacted the area on July 29, the Village of Glen Ellyn will provide a special branch/brush pickup this weekend and next week. Public Works crews and contractors will be picking up branches in the area south of the tracks, which was hardest hit by the storm. Please follow the instructions below depending on where you live:

For the area south of the tracks, crews will be making multiple passes in your neighborhood beginning immediately (Friday, July 29), but we ask for your cooperation in having all of your branch and brush to the curb by Sunday night (July 31). This will ensure your branches will be collected by the final pass on August 1.

The area north of the tracks, your regularly scheduled pick up begins August 8, 2011, so please have all your branch and brush to the curb prior to August 8.
