Here are some snapshots of the damage residents woke up to Friday after the late night storm on Thursday.
Recent violent storms have left some Glen Ellyn residents with damage to their homes, which is almost always caused by downed tree limbs, or entire trees.
After Thursday's late night storm, many residents woke up to find their front yards covered in limbs and brush from the violent wind and rain.
