Nonprofits Invited to Affordable Health Care Summit

A half-day summit, which will provide information to nonprofits is being held Jan. 23 at the DuPage County Health Department.

A summit later this week will help nonprofit organizations understand the ins-and-outs of the Affordable Care Act.

Nonprofit agencies are invited to attend the program being held Wednesday at the DuPage County Health Department.

The half-day summit will help agencies learn how the act will affect their oganizations and clients. Experts from the Sargent Shriver Center on Poverty Law, health and disability advocates, along with the Illinois Maternal and Child Health Coalition will be provided information during the program.

The Affordable Health Care Act summit for nonprofit agencies will be held Wednesday, Jan. 23 at the DuPage County Health Department Central Office, lower level, 111 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the summit will be held from 8 a.m. to noon.
