Local Business Donates Work in Remembrance of 9/11

Mr. Handyman of Wheaton donated technicians' time Friday to honor those who perished on 9/11.

To honor the National Day of Service and Remembrance for the tenth anniversary of Sept. 11, a locally-owned store, Mr. Handyman of Wheaton, donated technicians’ time and services toward housing improvements that will better the lives of homeless families that are attempting to get on their feet.

On Friday, Sept. 9, the local Mr. Handyman technicians joined hundreds across the country who helped local causes by donating free handyman services (more than 800 hours combined) to organizations such as domestic violence shelters, food banks, Ronald McDonald Houses, and more.

Mr. Handyman of Wheaton technicians worked all day performing household installations and upgrade projects to local families.
