In Court This Week: Hearing for Murder, Lawsuit Against COD and Jenna Jameson's Breach of Contract Case
Here's a look at some of the cases we're keeping an eye on this week.
A busy week at the DuPage County Judicial Center in Wheaton lies ahead. A few of the notable cases in front of judges are those against a man accused of killing a co-worker in Burr Ridge and a police officer accused of plotting to rob a suspected drug dealer.
Glen Ellyn—, aka Anne Rego, has a July 26 status hearing in one of her three new felony cases.
Glen Ellyn—Two civil cases involving Glen Ellyn are scheduled for hearings: the Ruisard v. Glen Ellyn dispute related to whether the village followed its own ordinance in approving cell antenna for the village water tower returns to court on July 25 and the e returns on July 28.

Glen Ellyn—Also, who claimed he was beaten up and then photographed unconscious by COD police has a status date on July 26.
Burr Ridge—, who is suspected in the 2009 murder of coworker Jason Dragos at SAIA Trucking, returns to court on July 27 for what will likely be an update on his defense team's analysis of computer records pulled by investigators. They are still likely to want to introduce evidence that shows someone other than Gilbert killed Dragos.

Downers Grove— has a status hearing on July 25 in her foreclosure case. Her criminal case, in which she is accused of stealing more than $100,000 from a youth football organization, resumes in Aug. 17 when a plea is possible.
Downers Grove—Police department vet , who is charged with official misconduct after allegedly plotting to rob a suspected drug dealer, returns to court July 28 for either a plea or trial setting.
Lisle—, who is charged with aggravated DUI after a July 3 car accident resulted in the death of a Naperville woman, is scheduled for a status hearing on July 25.
Naperville—, one of four men charged in a June home invasion, is scheduled for his first formal appearance on July 25.
Naperville— returns to court on July 28. The hearing was originally meant to determine damages against Jameson after a default judgment, but she now has an attorney representing her and the attorney is likely going to ask for that judgment to be vacated so the case can move forward.
