A Guide to the 2011 Bookfest

Use this table to help map out what events you'll attend this weekend.

Get excited about reading while at this weekend's second-annual Bookfest.

The Alliance of Downtown Glen Ellyn is partnering with the Glen Ellyn Public Library to bring all sorts of authors to the downtown area this Saturday. Residents can sit in on luncheons and chat with authors and learn about the publishing world.

The fest kicks off at 8 a.m. and events run throughout the day at various downtown stores.

Enjoy a continental breakfast with publishers, a librarian and editorial assistant while discussing the new era of publishing.

Glen Ellyn Public Library 9:15-12:15 p.m. Kids get a library card. The best balloon guy will be at the library giving each child a creation. In the library lobby at the booksale corner. Glen Ellyn Public Library 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Authors around town. 

Come meet and greet our guest authors in Downtown Glen Ellyn business. Their books are for sale and they are happy to sign them as well.
