Village Approves High-End Grocery Store Development

The Village of Glen Ellyn's Board of Trustees approved The Fresh Market, which could open sometime next fall.

The Village of Glen Ellyn has approved a development that will have high-end grocer The Fresh Market as its main retailer. 

Discussion about the proposed development came to light in December 2011 and the Village's Board of Trustees approved the $12 million project during its meeting Monday night, according to a story in the Daily Herald

According to the Daily Herald, the development will include five retailers in the 10,000 square-foot development.

The business will be located in the former site of the Packey Webb car dealership, the Herald reported.
