Bocce, bowling and food will be on tap at the new entertainment venue opening next weekend in nearby Oak Brook.

Families and singles who don’t mind making a short drive to nearby Oak Brook have a new place to enjoy spending some time dining out and enjoying family-friendly entertainment.

Pinstripes is opening its fourth location in Oak Brook. The venue, which will be 40,000 square-feet, opens Sept. 22 and will feature 16 bowling lanes, 6 indoor and 4 outdoor bocce courts, two outdoor fire pits as well as a bistro and bar.

"We are excited to join the Oak Brook community and offer individuals and businesses ’strikingly good’ food and fun,” Dale Schwartz, Pinstripes Founder and CEO said in a news release. “This opening is a continuation of our strategic plan to open additional Pinstripes in select markets throughout the country, and we look forward at our Oak Brook location to a long-term relationship with the Village and the surrounding communities.”

Parents who are looking for something do with the kids during the day can enjoy Pinstripes’ “Mom and Tots” program, which allows adults to bowl free and kids are just $5 Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon.
