Glen Ellyn's New Mexican Restaurant Switches to Sports Bar
Tomorrow, the new Mexican restaurant downtown will switch to North Side Sports Bar and Grill.
Glen Ellyn's new Mexican restaurant is switching identities.
Cantina, located at 499 W. Pennsylvania Ave., opened four months ago but tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 15, it will reopen as North Side Sports Bar and Grill, according to the eatery's Facebook page.
Cantina is owned by Danny Sronkoski, who also owns the popular on Main Street, also located in downtown Glen Ellyn.

It's unclear why the restaurant is changing its theme, and some patrons were disappointed to hear the announcement.
On Cantina's Facebook page a patron wrote: "No way! I love Cantina--Glen Ellyn needs great Mexican food!" While another customer wrote: "Great idea guys!"
