Meatheads Burgers & Fries Plans to Open in August 2012
A new fast-casual burger place is coming to Glen Ellyn.
A new place to chow down on burgers, shakes and french fries is coming to Glen Ellyn.
Meatheads is a family restaurant with four other Chicago land locations, providing all-natural ingredients that are never frozen, according to the restaurant's website. Meatheads is expected to open in August on Roosevelt Road across from Potbelly's in the old mattress store.
Tom Jednorowicz said Meatheads is more than your average burger restaurant, which are typically filled with freezers and processed foods.

"We strive to provide a dining occassion," said spokesman Tom Jednorowicz.

Glen Ellyn seemed like a good fit for the expanding chain because the core clientele is mom, dad and their two kids, said Jednorowicz.
The store is located around the corner from another proposed burger place. and if approved will add "That Burger Joint" to their operations making it a dual store at 515 Roosevelt Rd.
