Krisers's opened to the public on June 8.

The pet store offers food and treats only made in the US and Canada. It features food, treats, toys and supplements for dogs and cats. It also offers pet grooming services.

Terry Colley, the store's manager has worked for Kriser's for 5 years. He shared with Patch what makes his company different than other pet stores.

The pet store is opening shop at 674 Roosevelt Road, in Pickwick Place. Kriser’s opened its first store in Chicago in 2006 and now has locations around Chicago, Southern California and the Denver area, according to the company.

The opening in Glen Ellyn is the company’s 10th location in the Chicago area, adding to the 17 stores already open nationwide, Kriser’s said in a news release.

Kriser’s ensures that pet owners will always get the very best, all-natural products for their pets and the founder and CEO reviews all of the products sold in Kriser’s stores before endorsing them as “Kriser’s Approved.” According to the company, the Kriser’s seal of approval guarantees there is no corn, soy or by-products in any of the consumables, meaning customers can be confident they are buying the best for their pets.
