10-Minute Parking Helps Asian Pearl Take Out Lovers

Take out lovers who get frustrated every time they have to find a place to park when grabbing some food at Asian Pearl may have a little less stress finding temporary parking.

One parking spot has been reserved in the evening near Asian Pearl, 466 N. Main St., for take out lovers to stop in, grab their food and go.

A parking spot is now set aside as 10-minute parking outside Costello Jewelry, said Carol White, executive director of the Alliance of Downtown Glen Ellyn.

Christine Lin, the restaurant’s manager, contacted White saying her customers were asking for an easier way to pick-up their take out orders. In turn, White spoke with the Glen Ellyn Police chief and was able to secure the parking spot. 

The parking spot is 10-minute parking seven days a week from 6 to 10:30 p.m.
