Cantina Grand Opening Saturday

A new restaurant will open its doors this Saturday.

Cantina, located at 499 W. Pennsylvania Ave., is the new Mexican restaurant in town and will serve up a different kind of atmosphere.   

"It's your vacation beach bar and grill," said owner Ami Sronkoski. We have great tequilas and margaritas, so it's going to be a fun live entertainment kind of place."

Sronkoski says the theme behind the new restaurant is all about how to "find your beach."

To make that theme come to life, Sronkoski teamed up with . 

Sronkoski asked people to submit their best beach photos, as part of a contest. Then ten winners were picked to have their photos blown up, embossed and now they grace the walls at Cantina. 

"They turned out great," said Sronkoski. 

The restaurant will be open for dinner starting Saturday, July 15 and will begin to serve up lunch starting Friday, July 22. 

Sronkoski and her husband, Danny, also own Tap House Grill on Main Street, which is a few blocks away from Cantina.
