How did the business come to be?

I have been in real estate related businesses since my first summer job working as an assistant in a real estate firm in high school. A few years after college, my husband and I began investing in real estate and eventually built a portfolio that included 96 apartment units in Naperville which I managed through 2011. In 1990, along with a partner, we formed Rite-Way Custom Homes, a custom home design/build/renovate firm located in Glen Ellyn. With Rite-Way successfully launched and after the sale of our apartment buildings, I joined Keller-Williams: Premiere Properties as a Real Estate Broker.

Why did you choose the area you did?

After 20+ years in real estate as a property owner, manager and business owner, becoming a real estate broker is the next logical step for me. I love working with people, helping them reach their real estate goals and being of service to them. A wonderful home is a foundation for a balanced lifestyle. If I can help buyers and sellers towards that goal, I've made a difference -- not just brokered the sale of a property. Because of my background and experience, I can pass along knowledge, perspective and ideas that create new possibilites and opportunities for my clients.
