Woman's Club Meeting Features Intriguing Tales from Glen Ellyn History and Update on History Park

 

 

Tuesday, April 5, the Glen Ellyn Woman’s Club will meet at the Glen Ellyn History Center, 800 N. Main Street, beginning at 1:00 P.M.  The featured program includes Jane Rio, Interim Executive Director of the Glen Ellyn Historical Society and Dan Anderson, author of the book, “Twenty-four Tales of Murder, Mayhem, Infidelity, Pranks, and Other Intriguing Tidbits of Glen Ellyn History.” They will educate the club members about the plans and goals accomplished for the History Park and entertain with little known facts that will astound the audience.

Guests are welcome to attend this meeting and should call 630-469-6372 to make a reservation.  Parking is available in the History Center parking lot.  The Stacy’s Corners Store will be open from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. for people to browse and see the new spring items for sale.
