Poochapalooza a Howlin' Good Time

Bring your BFF - Best Furry Friend - for a howlin' good time at Poochapalooza in Spring Avenue Dog Park on Saturday, September 8 from 1 p.m.-4 p.m.

One of the fun new features this year is sheep herding. Watch trained dogs in action as they follow directions from their handler to round up sheep. If you like the movie "Babe," you'll love this event!

The fun doesn't stop there. It also includes exhibitors, demos and more. Attendees can:

  • Watch the Windy City K-9 Disc Dogs in action
  • Enjoy obedience training and other demos
  • Participate in Canine Good Citizen evaluations
  • Let their pooches run in the designated off-leash area

 

Pooches can also try the permanent agility training equipment in the park. In addition, each pooch receives a free goody bag while supplies last.

Free prizes & give-aways will be awarded throughout the afternoon. Be sure to stop by exhibitors' booths for valuable information and give-aways. Sponsors include Born Free Pet Foods, Glen Ellyn Bank & Trust, Tails Pet Magazine, Wheaton Animal Hospital, and many more!

Food will be available for purchase this year. Skuddlebutts is bringing out the grill for burgers and hot dogs.
