New Philharmonic: “Valentine’s Pops”

New Philharmonic continues into February with the very popular “Valentine’s Pops” at the McAninch Arts Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn, Ill. Sunday, Feb. 12 at 3 p.m. Joining Maestro Muspratt and New Philharmonic will be guest artists Angela Mannino (soprano) who performed the famous aria, "O mio babbino caro" (Oh, my dear papa) in New Philharmonic’s  January 2011 concert staging of “Gianni Schicci;” and John Sumners (tenor), who was recently featured in NP’s season opening “Joy Beethoven” concerts. This program, perfect for lovers, families and friends of all ages, will feature a fun-filled selection of music from Broadway, opera, film and television sure to satisfy the incurable romantic in all of us.Tickets: $50 adult/$48 senior/$40 youth.
