New Philharmonic and Cherish the Ladies

New Philharmonic and Music Director and Conductor Kirk Muspratt celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend with one of the most popular engaging ensembles in the history of Irish music, Cherish the Ladies, Saturday, March 19 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 20 at 3 p.m.

The Irish-American all-female band, Cherish the Ladies, is known around the world for their traditional repertoire of Irish songs, dances and roaring humor, culminating in enormously entertaining performances. The group will team up with the New Philharmonic to dazzle audiences with a wide array of festive Irish music in the true spirit of St Patrick’s Day.

March is the month for Orchestras Feeding America National Food Drive, a national effort organized by the League of American Orchestras. New Philharmonic invites their audience to participate by bringing non-perishable food items when they attend these performances. Food items collected will benefit the People’s Resource Center in Wheaton, Ill.
