Learn about CSO's "Beyond the Score" Program

Hillary Leben, Art Director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s “Beyond the Score” program, to present at the September 7, 2011, Wheaton-Glen Ellyn AAUW Branch meeting. We meet at 7:00 pm at the Glen Ellyn Civic Center (Betty Clayton Room), 535 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn.

Ms. Leben will present “A Look Beyond the Score”. This program precedes selected CSO performances. It is a multimedia examination of the score, including its context in history and life events of the composer which may have influenced its creation. Basically, “Beyond the Score” shares the many stories found “inside” the music. 

The mission of AAUW is to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.
