Kiwanis Community Pancake Breakfast is Free To All Diners



     Exciting news fro the Glen Ellyn Kiwanis is the Community Pancake Day Celebration on Saturday, May 12, 2012.  This annual breakfast is a “thank you,” celebration to Glen Ellyn for supporting Kiwanis activities since they became a vital organization in 1954.  “The Community Pancake Day Celebration is free of charge to all hearty eaters,” Glenn Scott, a long time Kiwanis member stated.
     A pancake breakfast with sausage, juice, milk, coffee is absolutely free on Saturday, May 12.  The Celebration will take place at the First United Methodist Church at 424 Forest Ave. Glen Ellyn, from 7:00 A.M. to 12 Noon.  Donations will be accepted and sponsors will be published for all to see on the breakfast placemats.  Hanging plants will also be available for sale.  This is Mother’s Day weekend, bring your wife, mother, or girlfriend for a pancake breakfast and treat her to a beautiful hanging basket.
     Delivery of the Vidalia Onion bags ordered through the Vidalia Onion Drive will begin on Friday, May 11, 12:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.  at the church.  They can be picked up at this time.    Vidalia Onion bags can be picked up on Sat. May 12 between 7:00 A.M. and 12 Noon  at the church as well.  Call Glenn Scott at 630-790-1545 for information.
