Thursday, January 27, at 10:00 A.M., the Glen Ellyn Historical Society Book Club convenes at Stacy's Corners Store, 800 N. Main Street in Glen Ellyn. The featured book for the month of January is authored by David McCullough and is titled, Brave Companions.
The Bookstore in downtown Glen Ellyn has purchased five copies of the book for resale and if additional copies are needed, they would be happy to order them.
All interested readers are invited to attend the book club. Leaders are Kay Potenza, Suzanne Carty and Diane Saul. At the January meeting, the group will plot out a tentative book list for the rest of the monthly meetings in 2011. To make a reservation call 630-469-1867.
