Grace Lutheran Church Announces Palm Sunday Service and Time

Grace Lutheran Church is located at 493 Forest Avenue in downtown Glen Ellyn. Palm Sunday on April 1 will have one worship service for the congregation and guests. This service will feature special music provided by the Grace Choir and additional musicians performing beloved hymns and songs of praise during the traditional service. Communion is offered and Grace Pastor Richard Likeness wants the entire congregation of the church to experience this moving worship service together.
 Donations of money or food for the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry can be brought to the Palm Sunday service. The Glen Ellyn Food Pantry is housed in the Grace building and is located in the heart of Glen Ellyn ‘s business district. “Let’s say thank you to the workers at the Pantry by bringing food supplies each time we meet for worship. Even if it is one item of non perishable food, this is an active way of offering something of value to those in our community who are in need. During the gathering of the offerings at each worship service, people will be invited – each week – to bring forward any donations they have for the food pantry.,” explained Pastor Likeness. The Food Pantry does have a list available of specific items they need to re-stock.
