Glen Ellyn Holiday Walkers Come to Grace for Prize Winning Chili

On Friday night, November 25, Glen Ellyn Holiday Walkers can come right in to Grace Lutheran Church, 493 Forest Ave. in downtown Glen Ellyn for the best chili they have ever tasted.  This is the 12th annual Chili Supper sponsored by Grace on the same night when all the families, friends and neighbors are out enjoying the beginning of Gen Ellyn’s Christmas Season.  Items on the menu include chili, hot dogs, corn bread, chips, dessert, and drinks.  Tickets are not required since all items are available for purchase ala carte.
Proceeds from this even will be donated to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) international world hunger relief program as well as the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry, that has their offices and distribution center at Grace.
Back of their 3rd performance, “FEVER,” will be on hand to entertain guests at the Chili Supper.  FEVER is a group of 18- year-old friends who combine their many musical talents and give back to the community.  Their musical style begins in the 40’s and moves right on through today’s popular hits.  The band’s favorite charity is the memorial for Flight 93 in Pennsylvania.  For more information about the Chili Supper call the Grace Church office at 630-469-1555.
