5th Annual Scavenger Hunt begins June 6 in Downtown Glen Ellyn

Here ye! Here ye! Youngsters in and around Downtown Glen Ellyn; the businesses in town are calling your name, wanting you to participate in a MidSummer Knight’s Adventure.  The journey is FREE and can begin anytime on or after Monday, June 6th until Saturday, July 30th at 1pm.  Come join many others as you travel the downtown businesses and find items all associated with Medieval Times. 

Begin by picking up your guidebook at The Bookstore (475 N. Main) or at the Glen Ellyn Public Library (400 Duane Street).  Next, start looking for the different items all listed in your guidebook.  Everything is in plain sight. Just spot them–please don’t touch them. Then ask the merchant to verify your guide book.  Please do this quietly as we don’t want to spoil the fun for someone else!  All participants under the age of 10, please have an adult with you.

Once your guide book is full, take it to the Glen Ellyn Public Library Youth Services Department and enter it to win a variety of prizes!  The grand prize is a $100 shopping certificate to our downtown.  The deadline is on Saturday, July 30th after our Final Friday event, July 29th.  All winners will be contacted by end of day Monday, August 2nd and will pick up their prizes at The Glen Ellyn Public Library.
