Where/When: 7-9 p.m. Friday at W. Front St. & N. Hale St., Wheaton.
Why Go: Check out vintage cars in the streets of downtown Wheaton during the Downtown Wheaton Association's 14th  annual Vintage Rides season all summer.
Pricing: Free.

2. COLONEL MCCORMICK DAY
Where/When: 3 p.m. Sunday at , 1s151 Winfield Rd.
Why Go: Cantigny Park will celebrate the 131st birthday of Robert R. . Activities and demonstrations for visitors of all ages are planned. Vintage games will be available in addition to assorted crafts, newspaper hat and birthday card making, target practice with the ever-popular water balloon cannon, butter and ice cream making. Free birthday cake will be served.

3. BRITBEAT
Where/When: 8 p.m. Saturday at , 1s151 Winfield Rd., Wheaton.
Why Go: The Beatles tribute band plays the weekly outdoor concert.

4. DUPAGE COUNTY FAIR

Why Go: There is a monster truck show on Saturday and demolition derby Sunday.

5. HASTERT TALKS HISTORY
Where/When: 2 p.m. Sunday at , 315 W Front St.
Why Go: , former Speaker of the House of Representatives, will be the guest speaker at the opening of the Civil War exhibit "War of the Rebellion: On & Off the Battlefield." The galleries are filled with memorabilia which come to life as the interpreters share tales of individuals, battle tactics, the homefront, and Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) Encampments.
