1. Art Exhibit: Quilt
When/Where: Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Wheaton College

Why Go: Join the art department at Wheaton College for an art exhibit centered around quilting, called t. Now is the perfect time of year to check out nice, warm quilts by graphic design professor Jeremy Botts.

2. Blues Night
When/Where: Saturday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at St. Marks
Why Go: Feeling the blues? Stop by St. Marks for and a preformance by the Chicago Blues All-Stars. But it's not just great music, come also for a dinner prepared by Chef Luis Allyon of Cab’s Wine Bar Bistro in Glen Ellyn. Plus, the proceeds from the $25 ticket goes towards a good cause.

3. Alice in Wonderland
Where/When: Elmhurst College, 235 W Walter St, Elmhurst, 2 p.m.
Why Go: It was good when you were five, it's good now that your kids are five—it's a classic and it's something different to do on a Saturday afternoon.

4. Sleigh Ride
When/Where: Sunday at Danada Equestrian Center
Why Go: With all this snow we just got, what could be more perfect than a ? Head over to Danada Equestrian Center for a 15 minute sleigh ride through the prairie. It's a great way to get someone close to cuddle up!
Pricing: $5 per person (or less if you go with kids).
5. Jazz Classics at the Arboretum
When/Where: 2:15 p.m. at
Why Go: Feeling like taking it easy? Stop by Morton Arboretum for The Elmhurst Symphony Strings performance of arrangements of jazz classics. Starts at 2:15 p.m.
Price: $23 for members, $28 for non-members
