On a beautiful late August weekend, the Glen Ellyn Lions Club, in partnership with , once  again sponsored the Glen Ellyn Festival of the Arts, held again at .  

More than 70 artists were on hand to display their works, which included paintings in oil and watercolor, photography, jewelry, pottery and much more. Local photographer Erik Peterson, who began his photography career with images of Glen Ellyn, was one of the local favorites attending.

The Lions also sponsored Paint for Fun, a supervised area for budding artists to show their creativity.

The Lions also took this opportunity to provide free hearing screening for attendees.
