Tornadoes Possible As Fast-Moving Storm Heads Toward Glen Ellyn
The storm could also bring three-quarter inch hail and 70 mph winds, the National Weather Service said.

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for DuPage County until 6:45 p.m.
A line of thunderstorms traveling 60 mph in our direction were located over Yorkville at 5:18 p.m., the alert said. It was expected to arrive in the Glen Ellyn area around 5:40 p.m.

Hail greater than three-quarters of an inch, 70 mph winds and tornadoes are possible with this storm.
“This is a dangerous situation,” the alert said. “These storms have been producing widespread wind damage.”
