Do you know what you’ll do for the weekend? Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for when you're done with work and ready to get out. Check our picks for the activities to hit.

1. TASTE OF WHEATON
Where/When: Through Sunday at W. Liberty Dr. and S. Main St.
Why Go: A through Sunday. Children’s entertainment, craft fair, and business expo will take place on Saturday in Memorial Park. Live entertainment, food vendors, and a beer and wine tent will be available Thursday night through Saturday night in Memorial Park.

2. RUN FOR THE ANIMALS
Where/When: 7 a.m. Saturday at , 208 W Union Ave, Wheaton.
Why Go: Cosley Zoo certified 5K and 10K runs and a Zippity Zoo fun run for kids. Register on-line at www.active.com (on-line registration is accepted until midnight Thursday.)
Pricing: $25 in advance, $35 on race day. Zippity Zoo run $10. $3 discount for CARA members.

3. NATURE UNFRAMED
Where/When: Every day at , 4100 Lincoln Ave, Lisle.
Why Go: International, national and local created one-of-a-kind works of art based off of the feelings and impressions found on the Arboretum grounds.
Pricing: Free with Arboretum admission.

4. 1776
Where/When: 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at , 111 N. Hale St.
Why Go: Sherman Edwards' musical about the founding of America, by Wheaton Drama.
Pricing: $18-$21.

5. NAVY BAND GREAT LAKE
Where/When: 3 p.m. Sunday at , 1s151 Winfield Rd., Wheaton.
Why Go: The performs in front of the First Division Museum.
Pricing: Free.
