Shutterbugs Sought for Glen Ellyn's Bi-Annual Photo Contest

Snap some fall photos and share them with the village. The 10 best photos and photographers will be recognized.

Soon the leaves will begin to change colors, turning trees into natural art. Photographers, novice and expert alike, will have the chance to capture all of Glen Ellyn’s scenic beauty.

Rather than leaving those photos on your memory card, why not share them with others this year. Submissions are being sought for the bi-annual Glen Ellyn Photography Contest.

The Village of Glen Ellyn holds the contest in the spring and fall. Residents are allowed to submit up to five photos for consideration, the village said.

A panel of judges will review the submissions and the top 10 photos that best represent the “Spirit of Glen Ellyn” will be chosen, according to the Village. Photos chosen will appear on the village’s website. The photographers are also recognized in the village’s e-newsletter and on its website.

The contest has two categories: children/teens, (17 and under) and adult (18 and older.)
