Great stuff to get out and do this weekend!

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here

1. WINTER JAZZ FEST

Where/When: 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday on the McAninch Arts Center Mainstage, , 425 Fawell Blvd, Glen Ellyn 

Why Go: Friday's show is Henry Johnson and The Organ Express, and Two for Brazil: Paulinho Garcia and Greg Fishman. Saturday's headliner is the Ramsey Lewis Trio.

2. TWENTIETH CENTURY

Where/When: 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 3 p.m. at , 111 N Hale St.

Why Go: Wheaton Drama, Inc. presents as its third show of the 2010-2011 season. Twentieth Century is adapted by Ken Ludwig from an original play by Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur. Twentieth Century sees Broadway producer Oscar Jaffe trying to save his fading career. When he discovers that his ex-chorus girl, now a famous Hollywood star, is on the Twentieth Century Limited train with him, he makes a desperate bid to convince her to return to Broadway.

Pricing: $13-16.

3. SPAMALOT BENEFIT

Where/When: 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Drury Lane Theater, 100 Drury Ln, Oakbrook Terrace.

Why Go: A for Adventist GlenOaks Therapeutic Day School. GlenOaks Hospital Foundation’s annual brunch/theater event begins with a reception, followed by a brunch buffet at noon, raffle winner announcement at 1:30 p.m. and a 2 p.m. performance of “Spamalot.”

Pricing: $75

4. FROZEN BUNS RUN 5K

Where/When: 9 a.m. Sunday at Danada Forest Preserve 3s503 Naperville Rd, Wheaton.

Why Go: The is USATF certified (legit mileage markers) and is timed by Race Time, Inc. All proceeds go to ActionAid, a non-profit organization that does work in over 40 countries in Africa, Asia and the Americas, by supporting poor and vulnerable people in their fight for a better life.

Pricing: $25-35.

5. THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES

Where/When: 7 p.m. Saturday at , 425 Fawell Blvd, Glen Ellyn.

Why Go: Take Back The Night DuPage is hosting its annual performance of Eve Enslers award winning play, The Vagina Monologues. TVM is based on interviews conducted by Ensler with over 200 women. The monologues give a voice to their experiences, tragedies and joys.

Pricing: $5 in advance, $10 at the door..
