Family homeless again after structure fire, Glen Ellyn soccer club to hold registration and Glen Ellyn resident looking for work.

The Glen Ellyn News reports that  Jill Markussen has lost her home a second time after a Oct. 28 fire made the house uninhabitable, according to the fire department. 

Markussen and her three children lost their home the first time in 2007, but got a Wheaton apartment in August from a Glen Ellyn housing assistance program.

Glen Ellyn Soccer Club to Hold Registration 

The Glen Ellyn Lakers Football Club will have registration night for the U17 Boys Spring team Thursday at Ackerman Sports Complex from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

On-site forms are available and if a signee has not played on the travel team, a copy of his birth certificate is needed and a head shot will be taken.
