Why Go: This is the fourth of six in the of lectures in conjunction with the museum's newest exhibit, “DuPage County and the Civil War: A Local Perspective.” Registration is required.

3. WHISKIES OF NORTH AMERICA DINNER
Where/When: 7-10 p.m. Friday at , 27w270 Mack Rd, Wheaton.
Why Go: The Red Oak Room at Cantigny Golf is accepting reservations for its Whiskies of North America Dinner.  Steve Cole, Master of Whisky for Diageo, will host the dinner featuring seven whiskies paired with six courses specially created by Cantigny's Executive Chef John Scieszka. Seating is limited. 4. PRIVATE LIVES

5. CERAMIC ARTS SHOW
Where/When: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday at , 1s151 Winfield Rd., Wheaton.
Why Go: Cantigny Park will host its first-ever in partnership with ClaySpace, a non-profit ceramic arts studio in Warrenville. Artists will exhibit and offer for sale a variety of handmade and one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces, some functional and some decorative.
Pricing: Parking $5, $2 before 10 a.m.
