Grace Lutheran Church Plans Special Services for Lent

  
    Beginning on Ash Wednesday, March 9 at 6:00 P.M., Grace Lutheran Church, 493 Forest  Avenue at Pennsylvania, in downtown Glen Ellyn presents a series of special services for Lent.  The Ash Wednesday theme is “Dust,” and features a chancel drama.
Before the service, a simple supper will be served, followed by the worship with Holy Communion and imposition of ashes at 7:00 P.M.
    Wednesday, March 16, the theme for the worship service is “The Faith of Noah.”
The service begins at 7:00 P.M. with a simple supper served at 6:00 P.M.
    “The Faith of Abraham,” is the theme of the Wednesday, March 23 worship service.
Simple supper served at 6:00 P.M., worship service at 7:00 P.M. 
    “The Faith of Moses,” is the topic of the Wednesday, March 30, service.  At 6:00 P.M., a simple supper is served and the worship service follow immediately at 7:00 P.M.
    Wedneday, April 6, the worship service theme is “The Faith of the Israelites, with
communion served at the 7:00  P.M. service.  A simple supper is served at 6:00 P.M.
    “Jesus the Perfecter of Our Faith,” is the final special Lenten worship service.  Simple supper served at 6:00 P.M. and worship at 7:00 P.M.
