Grace Lutheran Church Begins Summer Schedule

 
    On Sunday, May 29, Grace Lutheran Church, 493 Forest Avenue in downtown Glen Ellyn, begins a summer worship schedule.  Reverend Richard Likeness, pastor of Grace, announced the time of the Sunday worship service would be 9:00 A.M.  Communion will be celebrated every Sunday during this service.  A coffee hour will immediately follow at 10:00 A.M.
    Every Wednesday, during the summer, Rev. Likeness plans a worship service at 7:00 P.M.  This will follow a contemplative structure titled, “Holden Evening Prayer,” and Communion will be offered at each of these services as well.
    A Summer Sermon Series is in the planning stages and will be based on Richard Foster’s classic exploration of Spiritual Disciplines: Meditation, Prayer, Study, Solitude, Simplicity, and Worship. The Pastor hopes Village residents will join the members of Grace in exploring these disciplines together.  Call the church office for information at 630-469-1555 between the hours of 9:30 A.M. and 12:30 P.M., Monday through Friday.
