WILLIAM LANE CRAIG TO EXPLORE THE ORIGINS OF THE UNIVERSE AT WINDSOR PARK

Has science’s study of the origins of the universe eliminated God from the equation? Find out the status of the current debate when Windsor Park, a faith-based, not-for-profit, continuing care retirement community administered by Covenant Retirement Communities, hosts international lecturer and debater William Lane Craig on May 9, 2014, at 10 a.m.

The author or editor of more than 30 books, Craig will discuss his debates with atheists on the role of God in the origins of the universe. A skillful communicator to scholars and students alike, Craig will share his views on the current trends in faith. He will provide a foundation from which to renew Christian faith and add perspective to daily life.

A scholar and leading apologist for Christianity, Craig has presented to numerous audiences in North America, Europe and Asia. Craig is a research professor of philosophy at Talbot School of Theology at Biola University, La Mirada, Calif., and has an undergraduate degree from Wheaton College, Wheaton, Ill.; two master’s from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, Ill.; a Ph.D from the University of Birmingham (England); and a Th.D. from the University of Munich, Germany. He taught philosophy of religion at Trinity and pursued research at the University of Louvain, Belgium, before assuming his position at Talbot in 1994.
