Train Town: Glen Ellyn’s Railroad Heritage Exhibit is Open!


    Tuesday, April 29 to July 18, the Glen Ellyn History Center invites the public to come and view the Train Town: Glen Ellyn’s Heritage exhibit between the hours of 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM , Tuesdays through Saturdays.  Call 630-469-1867 for information.  The exhibit is located in the GE History Center at 800 N. Main Street, Glen Ellyn.  The opening night
ribbon was cut by former GEHS Board member and one of the coordinators of the
railroad exhibit, Dan Anderson.  An enthusiastic audience was in attendance to hear oral histories from GEHS  historian and author, Bob Chambers and Marjorie Locke who graduated with Chambers from high school in 1942.
