Over 250 Runner/Walkers Made Glen Crest Spartan Pumpkin Run a Success

Glen Crest Middle School hosted the Spartan  3;5 K Pumpkin Run on Sunday, October 27 in the area around the middle school.  The proceeds from this event is applied to the physical education program that includes intramurls, intermurals, and other  school-wide physical education activities.  Athletic Director, Corey Toppell, physical education teachers, Julie Breen, Dan  Sheridan, Linda Cotter, and Kelly Nordlund, coordinated this annual event and the day of the run, the weather was perfect.  Over 250 participants, plus many dogs, made the 2013 Pumpkin Run the best ever.  The entire PE Department was excited with the turn-out.  The money raised will be a huge benefit to the Glen Crest PE Program.  All the schools in Community Coordinated School District 89 joined in the Run.
