Lombard Garden Club Spring Luncheon Guests Charmed by Local Author

  Amanda Thomsen, author of the gardening for beginners book, "Kiss My Asters," had the Lombard Garden Club luncheon members
and guests laughing their way through her entire presentation.  A professional landscape gardener with an earthy sense of humor had the
audience in the palm of her hand.  However, the advice she imparted about landscaping front and backyards was priceless.  The question
and answer period had everyone taking notes.  The 2013-2014 club year closes with one more major project.  The Lilac Bush Sale which
